Dream It, Be It 2022

Are you a girl in grades 8 - 12 and interested in going to a vocational school or college? Do you want guidance on how to set and achieve your goals? Would you like access to professional role models and mentors? Get the resources you need through the Soroptimist Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls. This free workshop gives teens the tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, overcome today's stressors that can slow their momentum, and increase their self-acceptance and self-respect. 

Soroptimist Simi Valley works with teen girls in small groups and in a conference setting to provide them with the information and resources they want and need to be successful. The workshop features presentations of women who have overcome life's difficulties & found their own path to success, breakout sessions with leaders in areas of self-acceptance, mind and body health, and self-respect, and female professional panelists from a wide spectrum of careers.

• Setting and achieving goals
• Overcoming obstacles to success
• Moving forward after setbacks or failures
• Self-acceptance and navigating today's stressors
