About the Event

Soroptimist International of Simi Valley invites you to a powerful, community-wide Human Trafficking Awareness Forum. This annual event brings together the professionals on the front lines of prevention, rescue, and justice to address one of the fastest-growing crimes in the nation—and how it impacts our own community.

Attendees will hear from representatives of the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office, Simi Valley Police Department, a human trafficking survivor, and Forever Found, a local nonprofit that provides community and professional trainings on identifying and supporting victims of trafficking.

Together, these speakers will discuss:

  • How human trafficking has become a modern-day pandemic

  • Its impact on Simi Valley and Ventura County

  • Warning signs and red flags residents should be aware of
