About the Event
Join Soroptimist Simi Valley for the Walk for Women event on Saturday, June 22nd, at 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at Rancho Santa Susana Community Center (S-Curve Park)! This walk in the park is open to Soroptimist members and the public alike, offering a unique opportunity for the community to come together in support of women and girls. As part of a global movement, we aim to raise awareness about the experiences, struggles, and triumphs of women while promoting a culture of empowerment.
All participants are welcome to take part in this free event. Simply gather at the Rancho Santa Susana community building with us and get moving alongside fellow community members as we take a stand against the challenges women face. As we walk, share your #WhyIWalk on social media to amplify our message of solidarity and support.
LiveYourDream.org, in partnership with Soroptimist volunteers, is dedicated to ensuring women and girls have the opportunity to reach their full potential, free from violence and discrimination. Through access to education and support, we aim to address issues such as domestic violence, trafficking, and unplanned pregnancy.
