Taking on my new responsibilities as Director of Fundraising during a pandemic is not going to be a very easy task!! It is up to me to dream up ways for funds to be raised without the ability of having in-person events. This year, we have already missed out on having Quartermania, "Don’t Make Dinner, Make Reservations”, and our largest fundraiser of the year, Little Black Dress!
Without these events, the budgets we have set for providing life-changing opportunities for women and girls will fall short. We have come up with a few ideas to recoup some of the loss. First virtual event will be a BINGO Night, Giving Campaign, Luna Fest and a Silent Auction (to kick-off holiday shopping on Black Friday).
In-order for all of this to be a success, we will need your help! First, in the way of auction items. Businesses are stretched thin or closed, so we need to be creative! Think outside the box! Go beyond Simi Valley! Think of experiences or Themed Baskets! Ask yourself, "what would I want to bid on at an auction for myself or as a holiday gift?"

Kids – Board Games, iTunes Gift Card, Crafts, Balls, Books and More
All donated items may be dropped off in Simi at Joyce Erdman’s home at 684 Noble Road 93065. A simple donation form will be needed with each donation, so we will be able to post it with the correct description and get you a tax receipt. Please call me at 661-644-2233 with any questions and for the form. WE WILL NEED ALL DONATIONS BY NOVEMBER 1st!!! In advance, I thank you for your consideration and generosity.
