Meet Shannon Sergey

Founder and CEO of Forever Found

Shannon Sergey is the founder and CEO of Forever Found, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing, rescuing, and restoring children impacted by human trafficking. Her journey began while volunteering at an aftercare home in Los Angeles County, where she worked with girls rescued from trafficking in the United States. Hosting artistic workshops and hearing the children’s stories profoundly changed her life, opening her eyes to the devastating reality that many children had never been told they were valuable, precious, and worthy of love.

In 2010, Shannon legally incorporated Forever Found as a nonprofit faith-based organization with a mission to break the cycle of trafficking and bring hope to vulnerable children. Joined by her husband, Taylor Sergey, she committed to fighting for justice for victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC).

Under Shannon’s leadership, Forever Found expanded in 2014 to launch Ventura County’s first youth services program for trafficking survivors, becoming the only local agency solely dedicated to combating youth trafficking. Recognized by county and city agencies as the authority on child trafficking, Forever Found has become a trusted partner in the fight against exploitation.

Shannon’s global initiatives include the Forever Found India Home, which provides refuge for 96 children who have been trafficked or are at high risk of exploitation. Today, these children live in a safe, nurturing environment where they receive daily care and support. The mission of this home is to break the cycle of trafficking in Ongole, India, and to bring restoration and hope to children who have endured the worst circumstances.
